A vision of the Church in the service of unity

The article examines Father Cyrille's contribution to ecumenical dialogue, focusing on the ecclesiological vision underlying his engagement. The author, Father Yannick Provost, adopts a historical and theological approach to trace the way in which Father Cyrille conceived and practiced the Orthodox Church's participation in interconfessional exchanges. The central idea is that this ecumenical involvement was not a matter of simple diplomatic pragmatism, but was rooted in a coherent ecclesiology oriented toward the unity of Christians.
