Presentation of the workshop “Ecumenism in everyday life”This article reports on the workshop "Everyday Ecumenism" organised during an Orthodox day of reflection in France, led by Father Michel Evdokimov and Irène Soetart-Joannidès. In the form of a synthetic presentation, it conveys the exchanges and testimonies of around a hundred participants from various French regions and from Belgium. The central idea is that ecumenical engagement constitutes an essential dimension of Orthodox identity, rooted in the Trinitarian theology of unity. The article documents concrete initiatives of interconfessional collaboration — in Lille, Marseille, Troyes — and notes Orthodox participation in interreligious dialogue. Its main contribution lies in the announcement of a national restructuring of Orthodox ecumenism in France, organised into nine regions with local coordinators, aimed at strengthening the coherence and visibility of the Orthodox Church within the French ecumenical landscape.
