This article examines the theological thought of John Zizioulas, particularly his conception of eucharistic hermeneutics as a key to interpreting Orthodox ecclesiology and anthropology. The author offers an analytical study of the way in which the Eucharist, in Zizioulasian theology, constitutes the hermeneutical foundation from which both the nature of the Church and the meaning of the human person are understood. The central idea is that the eucharistic celebration is not merely a liturgical act, but the organizing principle of all theological reflection on the ecclesial community and on personal identity. The contribution of the article lies in its illumination of the internal coherence of this Zizioulasian approach, which articulates ontology, ecclesiology, and anthropology around the eucharistic event, thereby offering a significant contribution to the renewal of contemporary Orthodox theology.
