Jean-Claude Noyé

This article by Jean-Claude Noyé, a Catholic journalist and long-standing collaborator of Olivier Clément, examines the bonds of friendship that the French Orthodox theologian maintained with various personalities and institutions in the Catholic world. Drawing on personal testimony enriched with documents and direct quotations, it reviews significant relationships: with the progressive bishop Guy Riobé, with John Paul II, with the monastic community of Bose and its founder Enzo Bianchi, with the Sant'Egidio community, the Monastic Fraternities of Jerusalem, the French Catholic press, and the publishing house Desclée de Brouwer.
