The “Diaspora” as a space of dialogue of the Christian heritageThis article examines the notion of "diaspora" in the context of the contemporary Orthodox presence outside the historically Christian territories of the East. Through a reflexive and ecclesiological approach, the author questions the way in which Orthodox communities dispersed in the West inhabit and experience this particular space. The central idea argues that the diaspora does not constitute merely a sociological or geographical reality, but represents a theological space conducive to dialogue between different Christian traditions and to the transmission of the Orthodox heritage. The contribution of the article lies in its capacity to reconfigure the diaspora as a positive ecclesiological opportunity, rather than as a simple situation of exile or marginality. This perspective offers elements of reflection on Orthodox identity in a minority context and on its contribution to contemporary ecumenical dialogue.
