Cet article examine la pensée théologique d'Olivier Clément à travers son premier ouvrage majeur, *Transfigurer le temps*, consacré au rapport entre la foi chrétienne et l'Histoire. Jeremy Ingpen, traducteur anglais de cette œuvre, en propose une présentation analytique destinée à dégager la méthode théologique propre à Clément. L'idée centrale est que Clément ne conçoit pas la théologie comme un exercice spéculatif abstrait, mais comme une expérience vécue de la réalité spirituelle, dans laquelle le temps historique est appelé à être transfiguré par la lumière du Christ. This article examines the theological thought of Olivier Clément through his first major work, *Transfigurer le temps*, devoted to the relationship between Christian faith and History. Jeremy Ingpen, the English translator of this work, offers an analytical presentation aimed at identifying the theological method specific to Clément. The central idea is that Clément does not conceive of theology as an abstract speculative exercise, but as a lived experience of spiritual reality, in which historical time is called to be transfigured by the light of Christ. The article thus highlights the coherence of an approach in which history, eschatology, and mystical experience are closely intertwined. On the theological level, it contributes to a better understanding of the epistemological foundations of Clément's Orthodox theology and its singularity within the theological landscape of the twentieth century.
