Cet article propose une étude introductive de la notion de sacrifice à partir de ses différentes acceptions dans les textes bibliques, en particulier dans l'histoire du peuple d'Israël. L'auteur, anthropologue et théologien, adopte une approche interdisciplinaire qui articule sciences humaines et réflexion théologique. L'idée centrale est que le sacrifice ne saurait se réduire à une connotation négative de perte ou de renoncement : il constitue fondamentalement une forme de don positif, dont le sens ultime s'enracine dans l'acte créateur de Dieu et dans son économie salvifique orientée vers la déification de l'être humain. L'apport de l'article réside dans la mise en relation de l'anthropologie du don avec la théologie sacramentelle : le sacrifice ainsi redéfini trouve son accomplissement dans la liturgie eucharistique, comprise comme participation au sacrifice unique et définitif du Christ.

This article offers an introductory study of the notion of sacrifice based on its various meanings in biblical texts, particularly in the history of the people of Israel. The author, an anthropologist and theologian, adopts an interdisciplinary approach that brings together the human sciences and theological reflection. The central idea is that sacrifice cannot be reduced to a negative connotation of loss or renunciation: it fundamentally constitutes a form of positive gift, whose ultimate meaning is rooted in God's creative act and in his salvific economy oriented toward the deification of the human being. The contribution of the article lies in the connection it establishes between the anthropology of gift and sacramental theology: sacrifice, thus redefined, finds its fulfillment in the Eucharistic liturgy, understood as participation in the unique and definitive sacrifice of Christ.
