Cet article examine la réception de la pensée théologique de saint Sava de Serbie (XIIIe siècle) au sein de la théologie orthodoxe serbe contemporaine. Adoptant une approche historique et comparative, Vladimir Cvetković analyse la manière dont trois figures théologiques majeures des XXe et XXIe siècles — saint Nicolas de Jitcha, saint Justin le Nouveau de Čelije et Mgr Athanase Jevtić — ont interprété et transmis l'héritage spirituel et doctrinal du premier archevêque de l'Église serbe autocéphale. L'idée centrale est que la pensée de saint Sava a constitué un point de référence structurant pour ces théologiens successifs, chacun l'intégrant dans sa propre vision ecclésiologique et spirituelle. L'apport de l'article réside dans la mise en lumière d'une continuité théologique propre à la tradition serbe, articulée autour de la figure fondatrice de saint Sava.

This article examines the reception of the theological thought of Saint Sava of Serbia (13th century) within contemporary Serbian Orthodox theology. Adopting a historical and comparative approach, Vladimir Cvetković analyzes the way in which three major theological figures of the 20th and 21st centuries — Saint Nicholas of Žiča, Saint Justin the New of Ćelije, and Bishop Athanasius Jevtić — have interpreted and transmitted the spiritual and doctrinal heritage of the first archbishop of the autocephalous Serbian Church. The central idea is that the thought of Saint Sava constituted a structuring point of reference for these successive theologians, each integrating it into his own ecclesiological and spiritual vision. The contribution of the article lies in shedding light on a theological continuity specific to the Serbian tradition, articulated around the founding figure of Saint Sava.
